NIUA works on a wide array of projects. It delves into various aspects of urban development through these projects that support and augment the Institute’s vision of transforming the urban landscape of India.

These projects emcompass areas such as spatial growth, demographic trends, development of toolkits and frameworks, municipal finance, climate change, water, sanitation and hygiene.

It develops toolkits and frameworks, prepare city master plans and conservation plans.

Presence

NIUA is working nationwide with various city and state officials on the urban issues through our projects.

The institute continues to support MoHUA on implementing the national urban missions across 4000+ cities and towns, 3000+ municipal bodies, 100 Smart Cities and 500 AMRUT Cities
