Social and Organizational Innovation in Low-Income Settlements

The projects proposed under this theme shall aim at improving universal access to basic services and demonstrate capacity to implement in-situ rehabilitation in a relatively short period through an effective partnership approach. The program intends to support projects related to:

• In-situ upgradation of the existing housing stock

• Creation or rehabilitation of social and economic facilities (health, economic and education facilities)

• Improved access to primary services (waste collection, water supply, waste water collection, public transport and energy)

• Improvement of public space /street lighting.
