The CITIIS program supports capacity enhancement for its project teams and stakeholders who drive the 12 projects. To further this initiative, the Program Management Unit (PMU) at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) has organised several workshops and trainings since 2018. Our analysis of participants feedback from the trainings and, an on-ground assessments by the CITIIS experts has revealed a need for improved understanding of development issues, innovative and sustainable mechanisms and, strategies for the projects.

To address this, the PMU has designed the ‘Learn to Connect, Collaborate, and Co-create (L3C),’ webinar series. The aim is to encourage learning amongst various stakeholders in the program, especially the project teams, initiating dialogue, creating awareness and skills, sharing data, promoting peer learning and establishing best practices around sustainable urban development through the CITIIS projects.
