RISE, a Youth-led Engagement Framework for Urban Climate Action

With the intention to forge an innovative public participation mechanism for fostering inclusive climate action from the urban lens, the City Climate Alliance (C-CUBE) with the support of the Urban Youth Unit, NIUA in partnership with Youth Ki Awaaz (YKA) are co-creating an engagement framework which seeks to bridge the gaps between youth and urban local governments (among other public institutions and stakeholders) for collaboratively acting on making resilient, inclusive, sustainable and equitable Indian cities a practical reality. The framework is envisioned as a set of prescriptive policy guidelines and also features a strong M&E component and is set for completion by Jan 2024.
