The spirit of entrepreneurship is hinged on the atmosphere in which innovation is created, recognized, administered and disseminated. Hence, the importance of having processes in place that encourage innovation and its transformation into entrepreneurial pursuits that may eventually transform the urban space, cannot be underlined enough.
NIUA is at the forefront of innovation within the urban realm and aims at fostering initiatives and gathering knowledge about cities of tomorrow. The Institute has focussed extensively on incubating and furthering innovation in the digitalization sphere by engaging with the youth, through Fellowships, internships, youth networks and innovation challenges.
iNIUA is an endeavour toward placing a comprehensive innovation repository within the public realm, for wider dissemination of innovation development taking place in the Institute by way of development, partnership and facilitation.
