The National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) is set to organise a remarkable event - the ‘National Urban Conclave’. This event is a collaborative effort of the Urban Outcomes Framework (UOF) and the National Urban Learning Platform (NULP). This one-day extravaganza aspires to convene a diverse spectrum of urban practitioners, government gurus, academic stalwarts, tech trailblazers, and passionate civil society members, amongst others to spark conversations, forge partnerships, and inspire solutions via ideas and innovation to transform the current ‘urban’ space into a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive one.
The Conclave slated for October 31, 2023, on World Cities Day, will mark the culmination of UN Habitat’s Urban October. Through this conclave, we are not only emphasising how a data-driven approach empowers individuals and teams by providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to address challenges, but also, how capacity-building initiatives, such as training programs and skill development, become more data-centric and enable individuals to harness the power of data for continuous improvement and innovation.
