She is an experienced Architect and a Development Practitioner with specialization in Sustainable Development Practices. She ¬did her Bachelor’s in Architecture from Jamia Millia Islamia (2008-13) and Master’s in Sustainable Development Practices from Teri School of Advanced Studies (2016-18). She has also received the Vice-Chancellor’s excellence Award and a Gold medal for her excellent academic performance in her Masters. As an architect she has worked on various projects ranging from mapping of the heritage structures outside the walled city of Ahmedabad for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in UMC, to multiple projects of commercial and residential scale in Delhi. She has also worked as a research intern for Gwalior Smart Cities Development Corporation Limited (GSCDCL), where she was involved in projects like the riverfront development of the Swarna Rekha river & development of recreational spaces across the city of Gwalior. During her majors, she worked in The Institute for Sustainable Communities, New Delhi, on the project emphasizing Water Stewardship in Textile Industries in India. Prior to joining NIUA, she was also working on the Prosper.net Project in TERI School of Advanced Studies, focusing on implementing SDGs through Urban Local Bodies in India.
