Kanika Bansal

Kanika Bansal is Project Associate at the National Institute of Urban Affairs. Her interests are in the fields of policy research, inclusive design and sustainable development; and has more than a decade of experience in urban planning and environmental sector. She is leading the policy intervention and technical assistance on the tenets of accessibility, safety and inclusivity in BASIIC program of the institute. She has won third prize in USF award, France; and has authored several papers on various topics of environmental design and urban planning. Prior to this she was working as an assistant professor in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. She had also worked as a consultant to Delhi Development Authority in its research and projects on Landscape and environmental planning. Kanika Bansal is an alumni and Gold medalist from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. She holds a Masters in Planning with specialisation in environmental planning.
