Aparna Dwivedi is a Communications Specialist with the Water and Environment Vertical at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). Previously, she was a Communications Officer with the Scaling City Institutions for India initiative at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR). Before making a transition to the development sector, she was a journalist with CNN-News18 where she worked for over 5 years as an editor, producer and senior correspondent. She holds a post-graduate diploma in journalism from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai with a specialisation in Broadcast Journalism from BBC World News.
