The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs is implementing SBM 2.0 with a focus on preventing unsafe disposal of untreated used water, especially in 4000+ small ULBs. To address capacity gaps in planning and implementing Used Water Management (UWM), an advisory has been developed to guide officials in selecting suitable, cost-effective technologies tailored to local conditions and timelines.
