The City Climate Action Plans (CCAP) for four Indian Cities - Jamnagar, Junagadh, Leh, and Pune - are developed in collaboration with the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) and funded by the European Union (EU). These plans offer tailored climate solutions—mitigation and adaptation—providing a comprehensive roadmap to a Net-Zero and Climate-Resilient future for each city.
Aligned with the ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework (CSCAF) introduced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) under the Smart Cities Mission in 2019, the CCAPs ensure that city-level actions are consistent with national priorities and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
