Ankita Raman works as a Research Associate with the Climate Centre for
Cities. She is primarily involved in research and development of ‘Low Carbon
Pathways for Indian Cities.’ She is also involved in developing course modules
under Leadership in Climate Change Management (LCCM) program and
supporting the centre in the implementation of ClimateSmart Cities
Assessment Framework 3.0 (CSCAF 3.0). Prior to joining the Climate Centre
for Cities, she was working on ICBP and URGENT projects on national and
international capacity building respectively, within NIUA. She has previously
worked for Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana on Property Tax
Survey Project, as Assistant Professor in G.D. Goenka University, Gurugram
and an architecture practitioner.
Ankita holds a Master’s degree in Planning with a specialization in Regional
Planning from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi. She also
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from DCRUST, Murthal.
