Kanika Bansal


Lead- Universal Design and Inclusion

Kanika Bansal is presently working as. the lead- universal design and Inclusion at the Inclusive Cities Centre. Her interests are in the fields of policy research, inclusive design and sustainable development; and has more than a decade of experience in urban planning and development. She was involved closely in development of the Harmonised guidelines and standards for Universal Accessibility in India, 2021; Inclusive Cities Framework, ABLE- India framework. She has won third prize in USF award, France; and has authored several papers on various topics of universal design, inclusive development and urban planning. Kanika Bansal is an alumni and Gold medalist from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. She holds a Masters in Planning with specialisation in environmental planning.
