Anna Brittas


Research Associate

Anna Brittas is a Research Associate at the National Institute of Urban Affairs. Her interests are in the field of urban governance, public policy, gender and solid waste management. She is currently working on smart cities and sustainable urban projects under the context of climate change adaptation and mitigation. Anna’s independent research also focuses on solid waste management in Kerala with special emphasis on the outcomes of decentralised processes in the waste sector. Prior to joining NIUA, Anna worked with Tata Trusts. She was associated with The India Nutrition Initiative (TINI) as a District Coordinator for the National Nutrition Mission. Anna majored in Economics and is an alumna of Delhi University. She holds a Masters in Urban Policy and Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
