Research Associate

Sonali is working as Research Associate to the Program "ITCN" - Infant, Toddler and Caregiver Friendly Neighborhoods at NIUA. She is an Architect and City Planner by training and has completed 'Masters in City Planning' from IIT Kharagpur. She believes in creating wholesome communities with her focus on sustainable approaches, friendly street spaces and human behaviour. She also has keen interest in Climate resilient Cities and remains a part of Climate mitigation initiatives through global initiatives. She has gathered experience being associated with organizations working on inclusive public spaces through tactical interventions and policy frameworks. She has worked closely with the Hyderabad and Odisha governments on Area Development Plans and Puri - World Heritage City. In her free time, you can find her traveling, reading and sipping her coffee.


Qualifications
Masters in City Planning (IIT Kharagpur) --2019
