Capacity Building of officials in cities, states, institutions and industries, in addition to citizens’ is one of our key mandates. NIUA create, document and adopt standards, tools and best practices so that various policies can be implemented with best possible outcomes.
To administer the policies effectively at the local level, the city and state officials needs training and development to enhance their knowledge and competencies. NIUA provides such facilities to them, which helps them polish their skills. NIUA adopts a four pronged approach towards training and Capacity Building:
- Conduct need assessment
- Design the training modules, customised to the needs of the officials
- Organize the training sessions
- Monitors the outcome and provide handholding/mentorship
