On 10 October 2023, a meeting was held under the Chairpersonship of Dr. D. Karthikeyan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, Municipal Administration and Water supply (MA&WS) to discuss the modalities and way forward in the implementation of National Urban Digital Mission in the State of Tamil Nadu.

NUDM Team in Jammu and Kashmir

On October 18, 2023, the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) team visited HUDD Jammu & Kashmir and Municipal Corporation Jammu for a meeting with Shri Prashant Goyal, Principal Secretary HUDD and with Shri Rahul Yadav Municipal Commissioner Jammu Corporation to discuss the way forward and implementation of the mission in the state.

NUDM team deliberated upon streamlining e-governance in Ahmedabad and Gujarat

MoU signed with the Government of Meghalaya to implement NUDM in the state

With a vision to enable online delivery of common urban services benefiting citizens at large, we are pleased to announce that Meghalaya becomes the 31st state to sign a tripartite MoU between MoHUA & NIUA for implementation of National Urban Digital Mission in the state. Shri Ethelbert Kharmalki, IAS, Director, Urban Affairs, Government of Meghalaya signed the MoU on behalf of the state.

Igniting the entrepreneurial spirit, today, at the ‘Festival of Startup 2023’ organised by the Pimpri Chinchwad Startup Incubation Centre (PCSIC), Mr. Manpreet Singh, Chief Program Officer - NUDM, National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest.

In his address, he encouraged start-ups to explore innovative solutions, emerging technologies and potential use-cases developed into smart applications that will be relevant for the future of the urban ecosystem.

Urban Platform for deliverY of Online Governance
