Mr. Saxena has notably facilitated Pune Municipal Corporation in raising funds through Municipal Bonds among his experience of projects in aviation, IT, roads, urban infrastructure, water supply and sanitation, and MSWM. He served as the Chairman of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India from August 2015 to September 2020. With over 5 years of experience in urban governance, inclusive cities, health, road safety, solid waste management and sustainable development and has been an India Smart City Fellow. She has done her MTech in Urban Development & Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. She was previously associated with the United Nations Global Compact Network India as a consultant in road safety and advocacy, where she coordinated various programs and activities to achieve SDGs. He has been instrumental in the transformational DataSmart Cities, India Urban Data Exchange and India Urban Observatory initiatives of India Smart cities Mission (a flagship mission of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India) and spearheaded a nationwide rollout of Integrated Command and Control Centers, one of the most ambitious roll out of smart public infrastructure in the world.

Ajoe has joined as a Program Associate under Centre for Digital Governance NIUA. He has 5 years of experience in the area of Urban Governance and Advocacy and stakeholder management of several Urban Reform Projects. He worked with Sulochana Thapar Foundation in their Urban Innovation Projects and lead the initiatives in Goa in collaboration with the Directorate of Municipal Administration. Some of the projects included State Wide Municipal Account Reforms, Citizen participation platforms, GIS mapping of selected cities, advocacy initiatives for ward committees etc.

He was previously associated with Aakar Abhinav Consultants Pvt. Ltd. as a senior executive (Urban Planner) where he was preparing a DPR for Integrated Smart Road Infrastructure Development Project at Ranchi and Zonal Master plans for the Eco-sensitive zones in Madhya Pradesh. Gajendra Bhansali is a lawyer and a policy researcher. His interests are in the fields of competition law, intellectual property law, technology law and privacy aspects. He has over two years of experience in the legal sector. He was previously associated with Trilegal as an Associate in the Competition Law practice where he represented diverse clients on high-stake complex mergers and acquisitions deals involving pioneers in the technology and e-commerce sector. Given the nature of regulatory practice, he consulted with the government regulators and appeared before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, and various other courts and tribunals in Delhi-NCR region on a day-to-day basis. Her interests are in the field of urban mobility, smart cities, civic engagement, and she has four years of experience in the urban development sector. She was previously working on her civic technology startup idea, currently incubated at NSRCEL IIMB. Prior to that, she was associated with Wood Rodgers Inc as an Assistant Planner, where she worked on preparing technical articles, policy analysis notes and conducting site research for land development projects in California and Nevada. She has also received the Best Thesis Award from CEPT University and the Bloustein Graduate Scholars Award from Rutgers University. She plans to work towards creating inclusive cities through grassroots civic engagement and strongly believes in adopting a bottom-up approach in city planning so that the voice of each citizen is heard and their inputs valued.
