NIUA and FCDO under the ‘Building Accessible, Safe and Inclusive Indian Cities’ (BASIIC) programme is hosting a 3-day workshop (on Dec. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) to commemorate the annual observance of the International Day for Disabled Persons. The observance is planned to conclude with a main event to be virtually held on 3rd December 2020. The Day 1 event on 1st December is an inaugural session of the Lecture Series planned under BASIIC Programme. It aims to engage with subject matter experts, partners in change, relevant stakeholders from partner cities/national/regional level who are actively working across various realm of disability inclusion and resonate the need to address the barriers/challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in an urban environment.
