NIUA and FCDO under the ‘Building Accessible, Safe and Inclusive Indian Cities’ (BASIIC) programme is hosting a 3-day workshop (on Dec. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) to commemorate the annual observance of the International Day for Disabled Persons. The observance is planned to conclude with a main event to be virtually held on 3rd December 2020. Day 2 is an engaging webinar that aims to highlight innovative yet practical approaches of “disability inclusion” into design and development of cities, spaces and buildings. The discussion will bring out the key challenges, identify innovative design solutions adapted for all types of disabilities and aspiration of forthcoming cities. The webinar aims to trigger the inquisitiveness among the young professionals and urban practitioner to develop localised & contextualised “Inclusive” solutions.
