NIUA and FCDO under the ‘Building Accessible, Safe and Inclusive Indian Cities’ (BASIIC) programme is hosting a 3-day workshop (on Dec. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) to commemorate the annual observance of the International Day for Disabled Persons. The observance is planned to conclude with a social media engagement event on 3rd December 2020. The celebration aims to increase public awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities and celebrate their achievements and contributions towards building a more just and equitable urban environment.
