NIUA in partnership with the Urban Design Forum (New York) is organizing a joint webinar as a part of their global dialogue series on 'Citylife after Coronavirus" on July 24 at 7:30PM. The distinguished speakers include Soumini Jain, Hon'ble Mayor of Kochi who will speak about the response and recovery mechanism adopted by the local bodies in the city. Along with the mayor, we will have presentations from design leaders like Mriganka Saxena and Puneet Khanna who have researched and formulated 'The implementation framework for Containment Plan for COVID-19 for Indian Towns & Cities' and Guru Prasanna from, IUDI, Karnataka Chapter, involved in the development of "Suggestive measures for use of public space during Covid 19 pandemic". The video discussion will take place at 7:30 PM with 7-8 minutes presentations from each speaker followed by an interactive session. We look forward to all of you joining us for the event to learn and share about the wide range of strategies spanning from local to city level.
