The objective of this project is to support the city of Udaipur in adopting a holistic and integrated urban water management approach to ensure the sustainability of actions.This is a collaborative effort by the Udaipur City, the Danish Embassy, the National Institute of Urban Affairs, and the Municipality of Arhus (Denmark). The goal and vision for Udaipur’s CWMP are “to achieve sustainable utilization of the water cycle”. This means that in the overall management of the water cycle–both now and in the future–the best possible conditions for people, the environment, and nature must be secured. The CWMP of Udaipur recommends strategies and actions that the city shall take in order to move up the water security ladder.
