The National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM) is aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Indian citizens through comprehensive and accessible digital solutions for municipal service delivery. With a goal to introduce digital municipal service delivery to all Indian cities and towns by 2024, the National Urban Digital Mission Fellowship Program was launched in March 2022 to aid in the nationwide implementation of NUDM. The Fellows play a pivotal role in this Mission by offering decentralised support in NUDM's various implementation stages at the state/UT level, communicating strategically with urban entities, managing partnerships, discerning state and Urban Local Bodies’ (ULB) requirements for municipal service delivery, enhancing ULB capacities, assisting in data analytics, research, documentation, and other related tasks such as report generation and visualisation.
